Granted, this "summer" playlist might not hold the most normal summer style songs. However I don't listen to a lot of the happy summer songs that are normally expected on lists like these, therefore, this is my summer, and my summer playlist.

Started listening to a lot of Modest Mouse. Started reading a lot of Charles Bukowski. Reason enough, and it just happens to be a excellent song.

Nirvana is needed in every season of the year. Fact.

Electro light and breezy. Like a summer tea party.

5. My Wild Love- The Doors
Jim Morrison. I don't need another reason really.

6. What's In It For?- Avi Buffalo
His Voice. his voice. hisvoice. In love with it.

7. Wolves- Josh Ritter
You need some folk in summer right?

8. Lounge (Closing Time)- Modest Mouse
This song makes me want to do so many things at once.

9. Elephants- WarPaint
For that intro. Wow.

10. Blister In The Sun- Violent Femmes
I dare you to not wanna sing/dance/smile to this song.


11. Kiss Kiss- Yeah Yeah Yeahs
"We're free, We're free in the dark tonighhhht".

12. Dancing Shoes- Arctic Monkeys
Nothing describes nights out better than this song, and indeed album.

13. Don't Look Back Into The Sun- The Libertines
Because it's just good advice.
